Wayne Hyatt Lecture Series Presents: Passing Cloud or Gathering Storm? Mortgage Meltdown, Foreclosures and the Economy Join Dr. Regalia for an in-depth look at the U.S. economy and the fundamentals driving the credit markets as they cope with the challenge posed by growing foreclosures. We've seen a record number of foreclosures in 2007, with some states seeing triple-digit increases in the number of foreclosure filings. Meanwhile, nervous investors have prompted a credit crunch that may further slow the market. Are these headline-making numbers merely a passing cloud or part of a gathering storm? Are underlying economic fundamentals sound? How will the subprime crisis affect the U.S. economy in 2008? What's the good news? Is there good news? These and other questions will be addressed by one of Washington's most respected economic thinkers. Dr. Regalia has appeared on national television news and debate programs, testified before several congressional committees and authored articles and publications on a variety of economic topics.
